About us

JUNTO opened in December 2008, delighting customers with fresh wholesome food and great coffee. We’re a welcome addition to the progressive suburb of Bentleigh East, an established haven for some.

A café for all people – young or mature, folks with dogs and parents with prams all taking pleasure in what JUNTO has to offer.

We’re an increasingly popular destination, with modern features, friendly ambience and eclectic features. There’s street frontage and courtyard dining (dogs included), communal tables for group gatherings, smaller tables for individuals and space for privacy

The Junto kitchen is open from 8am to 3pm, offering an all-day breakfast & lunch. There's an assortment of specials from our deli-fridge selection or specials menu. Our emphasis is on good quality house-made meals at affordable prices.

Ourdelicious handcrafted treats & sweets (all preservative and additive free, some gluten-free) precede our reputation. Childrean are enchanted by our homemade cookies, handpicking their favourite gingerbread before scurring off to the courtyard blackboard. Others savour the food that "Tastes like nana used to make".

The "Taste 4 Health Kids" Award Winning childreans menu offers healthy alternatives as well as preservative and additive-free meals.

We are recipients of the "Taste for Health Gold Award" awarded at the 2010 Food Busimess Awards. This award is based on the nutritional value of our menu and the alternative healthy options we offer.

Each consecutive year since opening, The Glen Eira City Council "Safe Food Programme 5 Star Award" has been rewarded to us for our continued compliance with federal and state food safety standards.
